House LMB
Site located in Punta Veleros, a tropical bay on a small desert hillside facing the sea. The goal was to design a living space that conveyed a constant sense of calm and peace, unaffected by the extreme shifts of the tropical climate. The house faces the ocean and was built in harmony with the surrounding landscape. To achieve this, we integrated the natural slope of the terrain into the design by embedding the rear of the house into a solid wall, while elevating the rest on stilts so that the house appears to float in the air. It is precisely this “Flying House” effect that sets our design apart.
